 25.04.2018 MANAGED AGENT UPDATE

As many of you are already aware the Board have been exploring a move of management company. After a lengthy tendering process that started back in mid- 2017 we are pleased to announce that last week we signed terms with Pembroke Property Management https://www.pembrokepm.co.uk/ who assume management of the property on the 1st July 2018. Pembroke already know the area very well as they manage Bolnore Village and we have had excellent feedback on the back of that relationship.

Pembroke will shortly be emailing all owners with a welcome pack that outlines where to go for any questions you may have initially have. One of the main priorities for Pembroke is to ensure that all planned major works are able to go ahead without any delay particularly in relation to essential  external works. To that end they will be shortly sending  a Section 20 Consultation relating to those external decorations for you to offer any comments. Crabtree are fully up to speed and are working with the Board and Crabtree to ensure a seamless transition

 Kind Regards

12.01.2018 SKY UPGRADE

Community Vision will be on site as of the 22nd January to install a new fibre backbone to our existing Sky system and improve power. This will firstly improve signal quality for all users and secondly allow upgrade to Sky Q (the system can't accommodate it as it stands)

A letter is being sent out to all leaseholders but you'll need to speak to Sky direct if you want to move forward with an upgrade although Community Vision can do the install.

CV have stated:

Access will only be required into your property for approximately 30 minutes on either Wednesday 7th or Thursday 8th February for one of the following reasons:

1) You are having reception problems on your existing Sky service

2) You are currently unable to make full use of your Sky+HD box as you only have access to one Sky signal.

Community Vision can be contacted on 01892 722887 and This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Residents will be happy to know that CCTV is being installed this week covering the entrance to the gym and the pergola located nearest to the pool. We are hopeful this will stop theft and vandalism on the site

07.12.2017 SKY UPGRADE

The board have approved works to upgrade the Sky systems across the whole site. Installed when the site was converted the current set up uses cheap cabling and inadequate power. The new system will bring us in to the 21st century tech wise.

Dates for the install will follow when we have them

Dear Residents,

Hi my name is Simon and I'm the Site Supervisor here at Southdowns Park.

Thanks for all being so friendly and making me so welcome, its a beautiful site and a lovely place to come to work. I wanted to add a brief note to confirm communication with me.

To confirm the site mobile number (Phil's old number) 07563 631698 is mine and I can be emailed on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. If I'm not in the Cavendish House reception/office area I'll likely be around and about the site and given the mobile signal can be sporadic please do text or leave a voicemail with any queries as I'm focused on helping wherever possible.

My standard hours are 8 to 5 weekdays, however at the request of residents I have agreed to flex these hours two days a week to a late morning start and finishing during the evening to ensure provide site security into the evening. Which days this happens will be flexible based on the weeks events.
